The Book Shelves (of Public Health)

These are the ever growing book shelves of public health, or in other words the books about any of the  topics covered by this blog that I have read and that I thought would be of interest to you too. That can  mean one of two things...I found it very good, or it was entertainingly bad. There will not be many middle  of the road books here (well, unless they are very topical).   To facilitate this I have devised my own grading system, which is based on a grade between 0 (taking the  time to burn it would be a waste) and 10 (I wished I wrote it). As you can imagine, this rating is not  objective, entirely biased, and open for discussion (preferably just not with me). I hope however, that it  will be useful for you when you are deciding what new book to bring on holidays....  Note that, since I have not read everything ever written, I very much welcome suggestions! Preferably of  books nearer to 10 than close to 0, but good suggestions are always welcome. Just drop me an email at  frank(at)funplice.eu (or look at the Contact page for alternative methods).
